Researcher of the Genetic Resources Institute Awarded Doctor of Philosophy Degree
By a decision of the Collegium of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 30 June 2026, Arzu Rafail gizi Mirzayeva, a scientific researcher at the Department of Livestock Genetic Resources of the Genetic Resources Institute, Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences in specialty 3110.01 – “Breeding, Selection, Genetics and Reproduction of livestock (Silkworm)”.
Arzu Mirzayeva successfully defended her dissertation entitled “Development of Silkworm Breeds Tolerant to Repeated Feeding Using Genetic Resources, Breeding and Genetic Parameters, and Crossbreeding Methods.”
